Arkansas Enhanced Concealed Carry – 16 Hour Course

Course Overview

The PSTS 16-hour Arkansas Enhanced Concealed Carry Course is an expanded training program for individuals seeking the Enhanced endorsement recognized by the Arkansas State Police. This course provides in-depth legal instruction, advanced responsibility considerations, and enhanced live-fire qualification standards. This training is based on real-world law enforcement experience and is designed to provide practical, proven techniques—not theory. 

Enhanced Training Includes

Detailed review of Arkansas concealed carry statutes and enhanced endorsement requirements
• Prohibited places and firearm-sensitive areas
• Enhanced responsibilities of license holders
• Use of force and deadly force law analysis
• Situational awareness and de-escalation principles
• Advanced firearm handling and safety reinforcement
• Enhanced live-fire qualification preparation

Enhanced Live-Fire Qualification

Students must successfully complete the Arkansas State Police enhanced qualification standard, requiring a minimum passing score of 70 percent (35 out of 50 rounds). Structured range coaching is provided prior to qualification.

Required Gear

Reliable handgun (semi-automatic or revolver)
• Minimum 50 rounds of factory ammunition
• Eye and ear protection
• Concealment holster (no cross-draw or shoulder holsters)
• Government-issued photo ID

Certification
