Heartsaver® CPR AED & First Aid

Course Overview

Public Safety Training Solutions LLC offers the American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED & First Aid training based on American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines , designed for individuals with little or no medical training who require certification for employment, regulatory compliance, or personal preparedness. This course follows the most current AHA Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and includes hands-on skills practice and evaluation.

Training is led by a veteran law enforcement instructor with real-world emergency response experience. Courses are hands-on, practical, and designed to prepare students to act confidently in real-life emergencies—not just pass a class. Training is hands-on and scenario-based, ensuring students are prepared to respond confidently in real-life emergencies.

Course Content Includes

CPR & AED:
• Adult CPR and AED use
• Child CPR and AED use
• Infant CPR
• Relief of choking

First Aid:
• Scene safety and primary assessment
• Bleeding control and shock management
• Medical emergencies (diabetic emergencies, seizures, allergic reactions)
• Injury emergencies (sprains, fractures, burns)
• Environmental emergencies (heat- and cold-related illness)

Skills Testing & Certification

Participants must successfully demonstrate CPR, AED, and First Aid skills and meet all American Heart Association testing requirements. Upon successful completion, students receive an official American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED & First Aid eCard valid for two (2) years.
